Care Instruction For Your New Tattoo:

Take the bandage off after 1-2 hours. Upon removal hand wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap and warm water. Lightly pat dry with a clean soft paper towel.

A tattoo takes about 2 - 3 weeks to heal completely. During the healing time wash your tattoo 2 - 3 times a day with antibacterial soap to prevent infection.

After 48 hours you can start to apply a small amount of un-scented lotion. A moisturizer is needed so the scabs do not get too dry and crack, which can result in light spots on the healed tattoo. Use a very small amount of moisturizer. A little goes a long way. If you experience an adverse reaction to your moisturizer discontinue use and wash your tattoo. Allow your skin to breath for several hours before applying any other product.

Be sure to have clean hands when touching your tattoo for any reason. Try your best to keep your pets away from it.

Wear loose clothes that will cover and protect your tattoo in any environment that may get it dirty. Avoid tight clothing of any kind directly covering or rubbing against your tattoo.

Avoid prolonged submerssion in water. Avoid sunbathing, tanning or overexposure to the sun. Don’t scratch or pick the healing tattoo or try to shave the tattooed area until it is completely healed.

Once healed, sunscreen can be useful in preserving its beauty. Taking care of your tattoos will keep them looking good.
